Employee Spotlight Lisa Stalberger

Tried and true! Lisa Stalberger has been working with us for nearly 12 years. Our National Services team would not be the same without her!

Q: What do you do at Capitol Lien?

A: I oversee the Nationwide Services Department. My daily tasks consist mostly of Due Diligence research for multi-jurisdictional searches, as well as UCC filings, and helping clients and staff with questions or issues.

Q: What is the best part about your Capitol Lien Career?

A: There are so many things! I do love how well the company treats their employees! I enjoy the fact that we are trusted, valued employees and have so much flexibility offered including options to work from home (even before the pandemic).

Q: How did you get into this industry?

A: I was looking for a career change and my sister was working for a partner company back at that time. She said I should apply, and almost 12 years later I’m still enjoying what I do!

Q: What do you do in your free time?

A: I spend time with my family. I also love to be crafty!

Q: What was your first-ever job?

A: I was a waitress in a small town diner when I was 15.

Q: What’s something most people don’t know about you?

A: I love to go fishing! I will catch it, clean it, and cook it, but I do not eat fish.

Q: What is your favorite quote?

A: “Do small things with Great Love”

Q: What have you gained since working at Capitol Lien?

A: I have learned so much information and knowledge about the industry. I have learned to see things with different perspectives. I’ve personally gained many valued friendships, and most importantly I have gained confidence in the work I do.

Q: What is your favorite service we offer to our clients and why?

A: I would have to say Database Direct, the ease of filing a UCC through the system is top notch, the ability to search for UCC’s or Tax Liens is one of the easiest systems I’ve ever used.
