Q: What do you do at Capitol Lien?
A: I manage 3 different departments at Capitol Lien as Operations Director. I manage a research team, the IS Support Team, and the IT Development teams.
Q: What is the best part about your Capitol Lien Career?
A: Working with other employees to help make their jobs easier and more efficient.
Q: How did you get into this industry?
A: I have a Paralegal Degree and I knew Brad Abrahamson from high school, he got me an interview. 16 years later and I’m still here!
Q: What do you do in your free time?
A: I spend a lot of time in my garden, as well as camping and having fun with my family.
Q: What was your first-ever job?
A: I worked at an Italian restaurant where I fell in love with toasted ravioli!
Q: What is your greatest accomplishment?
A: Raising decent humans that lead with kindness and empathy.
Q: What did you want to be when growing up?
A: I wanted to be a lawyer for the longest time while growing up, I enjoy discussions and debating various topics and challenging people’s thinking about things.
Q: What is your favorite quote?
A: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Love is Love.
Q: What have you gained since working at Capitol Lien?
A: Over the last years, I have had the ability to manage all different kinds of clients, requests, situations, issues, both internal and external, and I have learned that good, thorough communication is more important than is usually realized, and I do my best day to day to remember that and incorporate it in every interaction I have.
Q: What is your favorite service we offer to our clients and why?
A: My favorite offering to our clients is Database Direct. I think the ease of the system and the comprehensive and cost effective options are a great tool for the lending community.
