Q: What do you do at Capitol Lien?
A: I process property searches in different states across the nation.
Q: What is the best part about your Capitol Lien Career?
A: The great team-work on the National Research Team and the flexibility and support of the company as a whole has been amazing.
Q: How did you get into this industry?
A: I was in the Title industry for years and worked as a closer. When the title company I was at got phased out I transitioned into doing national research for Capitol Lien.
Q: What do you do in your free time?
A: If I’m at the lake, I’m on the pontoon (weather permitting and sometimes not weather permitting). If I’m in Andover, I’m walking my dog Gibson (a wonderful rescue from Alabama).
Q: What was your first-ever job?
A: Delivering the Minneapolis Star and Tribune newspaper.
Q: Where would your dream vacation be?
A: My dream vacation would be to go anywhere in Italy.
Q: What’s something most people don’t know about you?
A: I love my dog more than my kids (okay, some of you know that).
Q: What is your favorite quote?
A: There are two: “You Live and Learn” and “Life Ain’t Easy”. These are actually my mom’s favorite quotes, but I hear them so often I find myself saying them too.
Q: What have you gained since working at Capitol Lien?
A: An in-depth knowledge of our solutions especially in various jurisdictions for clients in legal, title, and lending industries. The need for real estate research and recording/filing services is unending. Capitol Lien continues to create new services to assist our current clients and draw in new clients. It is true. If you build it, they will come.

A: Our customer service is top notch. From top to bottom, everyone goes above and beyond to make sure the client is taken care of.
