  1. What’s a unique skill or perspective you bring to your role at Capitol Lien?

Being a part of Gen Z, the first digital-native generation, I feel like I’ve been able to incorporate a lot of technical aspects into my work and help streamline time-consuming processes. 

  1. Share a professional success story that you’re proud of OR What’s the most challenging project you’ve tackled, and how did you overcome it?

The most challenging project I’ve worked on at Capitol Lien was turning the vendor invoice entry system paperless. Finding a way to keep formatting the same and make transitioning as seamless as possible was challenging, but very rewarding when the project was complete.

  1. What’s your favorite part about collaborating with your team?

My favorite part about collaborating with my team is the consistency and ease of communication.

  1. What do you love most about your job and why?

I love how flexible the hours are. Being able to choose the time and place I work  has made working while in school a lot easier to manage.

  1. What’s one tool or resource you couldn’t do your job without?

One tool that I couldn’t do my job without is HubSpot. It has made finding contacts incredibly easy. HubSpot Academy has been extremely useful and has given me the opportunity to learn and earn certifications.

  1. What do you love to do in your free time?

I like to tinker with tech and outdoor activities especially hunting and fishing.

  1. If you won the lottery tomorrow, what’s the first thing you’d do?

I would invest the money and pay off my student loans.

  1. What’s a hidden talent or hobby that might surprise your colleagues?

I started playing chess in 2020 and have made it to the top 99th percentile on chess.com.

  1. If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?

I would have dinner with Socrates. I’ve always had an interest in philosophy and I think there would be a lot of fascinating things I could learn and discuss.

  1. Do you have any pets? 

We have two labs. A yellow lab named Hank and a black lab named Ruby.
