What do you do at Capitol Lien?
I assist in order distribution, answering phones. I perform Quality Assurance checks on files and complete special projects that are assigned to me by the Vice President.
What is the best part about your Capitol Lien career?
I have been fortunate enough through my almost 17 years to explore different avenues within the company. (Coordinator, Research, Administrative) I have enjoyed the different challenges and love the versatility and flexibility this company offers.
How did you get into this industry?
I was approached by an independent contractor who researched a lot in Steele county recorder’s office where I was working at the time. This was during the big Refinance boom, he approached me about helping him with research as he had too much on his plate. Capitol Lien liked my thoroughness of my research and reached out to me about coming onboard to join their team.
What have you gained since working at Capitol Lien?
I have gained more knowledge of various county systems and departments within our company. I feel like I am always learning something new which helps with confidence in my ability to be versatile in my job.
What do you love to do in your free time?
In my free time I have a passion for Photography and love to travel. The two hobbies combine well.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
Raising 2 children that grew into amazing responsible and accomplished adults.
What is your favorite meal or food?
My favorite meal was my Dad’s homemade Lasagna. I was fortunate enough to learn his secrets before he passed away so I can still share it with my family. It truly is a labor of love.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I was born in Japan and grew up in Germany. I did not come back to the states until I was 16 yrs old and finished my last 2 years of High School and college in Texas.

Live with no regrets.
Do you have any pets?
Yes I have 2 Pomeranians. Bodie and Bella who are both going to be 12 yrs old this year. I have had this specific breed my entire married life which will be 39 years in March. They are loved beyond words.
