Meet Angie Miller! Angie has been with Capitol Lien for 8 years. She has a great work ethic and brings dedication to her role as a Research Coordinator for our UCC Filing and Search Services team.
Q: What do you do at Capitol Lien?
A: I focus mostly on filing UCC’s, running UCC searches and navigating our Database Direct® system.
Q: What is the best part about your Capitol Lien Career?
A: Aside from the actual work I do which I thoroughly enjoy, I’ve never worked for a company that puts so much effort into making a great work environment for their employees. It makes it very easy to put in the hard work and dedication when you feel valued.
Q: How did you get into this industry?
A: I actually started working in the real estate title industry for several years and then I was given the opportunity to join the UCC Filing and Search Services team here at Capitol Lien. I haven’t looked back since! There are a lot of similarities and the clients are awesome to work with so it was definitely worth it.
Q: What do you do in your free time?
A: Believe it or not, there hasn’t been much free time recently, but when there is, I’m either reading or HOPEFULLY heading up to the cabin with my family.
Q: What is your greatest accomplishment?
A: I hope to have many ‘great accomplishments’ in my future, but my children will forever be my greatest!
Q: Where would your dream vacation be?
A: I’ve always wanted to do a road trip around the U.S. (Winnebago style). It’s not glamorous, but I’d like to see and experience all of the interesting wonders and history this nation has to offer first hand.
Q: What’s something most people don’t know about you?
A: I’m the most comfortable as an introvert. Music gives me my greatest peace, but I can sit alone outside for hours and be completely content with no interaction.
Q: What have you gained since working at Capitol Lien?
A: A greater appreciation for teamwork. I do believe that a person’s work is a reflection of who they are. Being able to accept the help and guidance of others with trust, mutual respect, and commitment is so valuable in the workplace.
Q: What is your favorite service we offer to our clients and why?
A: Database Direct®! I could honestly spend a whole day talking to people about how awesome I think this site is. The best is when I hear back from a new user after they signed up and they agree! There’s a lot of thought that goes into what is beneficial to our clients using Database Direct® and I think it shows that we relate to their needs and truly want to make their jobs easier!
