What do you do at Capitol Lien?
I am a Customer Service Associate supporting CT Corporation mostly. I work in our St. Paul Office.
What is the best part about your Capitol Lien career?
I am still relatively new, just under a year here, but the people are the best part! It has been a great fit for me and that makes all the difference. I love it here.
How did you get into this industry?
I have been in various administrative positions throughout my career and was led to Capitol Lien by Robert Half as I had been doing some contract roles for them.
What have you gained since working at Capitol Lien?
I’ve gained lots of knowledge about how businesses are set up via the MN Secretary of State which helps me assist the other customer service associates at CT Corporation.
What is your favorite service/product we offer to our clients and why?
I think our service is the best. We are available to answer any questions, etc., in a short amount of time and our clients really appreciate that.
What do you love to do in your free time?
I love being outdoors hiking or biking, preferably on the Lake Superior Trail, walking my dog, and when indoors I am a read-aholic. I will likely die with an unread pile of books near me.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
Not sure yet, but hopefully it will be the book I plan to write someday.
What is your favorite meal or food?
Anything made from scratch. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans, for example, with something chocolate for dessert.
What is your favorite quote?
We only have today. (keeps everything in perspective)
Do you have any pets?
Yes – 2. My dog, Jadi, who comes to the office every day with me here, and a cat, Smudgey. Both are 14 years old.
